Responsible Minerals Sourcing Policy

MED promotes responsible mineral sourcing throughout its entire supply chain to fulfill its social responsibilities in procurement activities from a CSR perspective.
For minerals*1 originating from conflict regions*2 and high-risk regions*3, the Company conducts supply chain investigations using the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT)/Extended Mineral Reporting Template (EMRT) and regularly assesses the risk of raw material suppliers. If investigations reveal that a supplier in our supply chain has ties to armed groups in conflict regions, we will immediately cease transactions with that supplier. Furthermore, based on the OECD Due Diligence Guidance*4, we will continue our efforts to avoid using high-risk minerals to prevent contributing to human rights abuses, thereby engaging in responsible mineral procurement activities.
